So you want to...
Get Involved
Consider this your starting point. We are in this together.
Here, you’ll find resources to help you connect with other activist groups, support local community organizations, tips, tricks, and guides to live more sustainably and begin to move away from reliance on capitalism, and find ways to take action through advocacy, protest, and mutual aid. Whether you're just getting started or looking to deepen your impact, there's a place for you here.
Getting involved in activism can be daunting if you try to do it alone. Reach out to an Indivisible chapter or one of the other existing organizing group near you to see how you can dedicate your time and skills to the collective efforts being organized across the state. Collectively, these groups have hundreds of years of organizing skills and expierence and will know how to help you get started!

Learn about how to follow legislation and contact your representatives to make your voice and your values heard. When you reach out, whether it's a quick phone call, email, or letter, you help shape the decisions they make and remind them who they’re accountable to. Your input can influence legislation, bring attention to overlooked issues, and show that people are paying attention.
Our current system often harms people and the planet for profit. By focusing on sustainable living, reducing waste, and supporting local communities, we can create better alternatives that prioritize well-being over consumption and profit to help build a more just and resilient future.

They weren't kidding when they said knowledge is power. As much as you can, learn about how you can intervene and protect your community in contentious situations, learn about the political process and what rights we have as Americans, learn about how to help others in times of need, learn how to grow your own garden, learn how to make your voice heard, learn about history and how we can keep from repeating it.
